Birkmann Proofing Basket Oval 30x14x6.5cm

Birkmann Proving basket to let your bread rise. Gives your bread support during rising and also provides a nice rustic appearance to your bread. Sprinkle with (rye) flour before use. If you don't want the stripes in your bread, you can cover the basket with a tea towel and sprinkle it with flour. Made from natural reed. Do not wash the basket, but brush the basket clean with a dustpan or brush.

A separate cover/cover is available for the proofing basket, item number 700666. The cover also allows you to use the proofing basket as a bread basket.
