How to make shaker cookies:

• Bake two cookies with a festive shape cut from the centre and one solid round cookie.
• Fill the cut-out shape with isomalt or pieces of hard candy and bake to create a transparent glass effect.
• Once cooled, stack the cookies using royal icing.
• Fill the centre with Christmas sprinkles.
• Finish with the cookie featuring the transparent window and allow to dry thoroughly.

The sprinkles remain visible through the window and move around when the cookie is shaken.
