Bake a soft vanilla cake or delicious cupcakes with the Tasty Me Sugar-Free Vanilla Cake Mix 300 g. The mix has a pleasant vanilla flavour and is gluten-free and sugar-free. The dry mix is also lactose-free.
Its mild vanilla flavour makes this cake mix a versatile base for all kinds of bakes. Make a classic loaf cake to enjoy with coffee or bake cupcakes and decorate them with cream, fruit, sprinkles or your favourite toppings.
The dry mix is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. However, the standard preparation uses eggs and butter, so the finished cake is not vegan. To prepare it lactose-free, use lactose-free butter.
You will need:
300 g Tasty Me Vanilla Cake Mix
3 eggs
30 ml water
150 g butter
Lactose-free preparation: replace the butter with 150 g lactose-free butter.
Method:
Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 170°C and grease a cake tin or cupcake tin.
Place the cake mix, butter, eggs and water in a mixing bowl. Beat for a few minutes until smooth and light. Divide the batter between your chosen tin or cupcake cases.
Bake cupcakes for 20–25 minutes or a cake for 35–40 minutes. Check with a skewer; when it comes out clean, the cake or cupcakes are ready.
