FunCakes Gluten Free Buttercream Mix – 400 g

Create a wonderfully smooth and creamy buttercream with the FunCakes Gluten Free Buttercream Mix 400 g. This mix makes it easy to prepare a stable, fluffy buttercream that’s perfect for filling, covering and decorating cakes, or for piping beautiful swirls on cupcakes. Simply add water and butter to the mix and you’ll have a delicious buttercream with a soft vanilla flavour.

This buttercream is also ideal as a crumb coat or underlayer when covering cakes with fondant or marzipan. The vanilla flavour can be customised with FunCakes flavour pastes, and a touch of colouring completes your creation.

Produced in a certified gluten‑free facility, FunCakes guarantees that the mix contains less than 20 mg gluten per kg (20 ppm), making it suitable for most people with coeliac disease or gluten sensitivity.

Ingredients
Sugar, dextrose, vegetable oil (coconut), starch (maize), glucose syrup, modified starch (potato), skimmed milk powder, milk protein, stabiliser: E340, E450, emulsifier: E472a, E471, thickener: E404, acidity regulator: E339, acid: E330, flavouring.

Allergens: contains milk. May contain traces of: egg, soy.

Storage
Store dry and at room temperature. Avoid heat sources and temperature fluctuations.

Preparation

1. Mix 150 g mix with 100 ml water and let rest for 1 hour.
2. Whip 180 g soft butter for 2 minutes.
3. Add half of the butter to the mixture and mix until absorbed.
4. Add the remaining butter and mix for 5 minutes on high speed until smooth and creamy.
